The Amyloidosis Research Consortium (ARC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to driving advances in the awareness, science, and treatment of amyloid diseases. ARC’s mission is to improve and extend the lives of those with amyloidosis. ARC is committed to collaborative efforts that accelerate the pace of discovery, expand patient access to the most effective care, and improve short- and long-term outcomes. Working with partners in industry, government, and academia, ARC seeks to spark innovation and to bring promising treatments from labs to clinics. ARC’s outreach and education inform and empower patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and researchers.

Amyloidosis Support Groups (ASG) was formed in 2004 with the goal of providing free face-to-face support groups throughout the United States. The goal of these meetings is to educate and empower amyloidosis patients and their loved ones. ASG also offers closed, private Facebook groups for each type of amyloidosis, along with regular webinars for the various types of amyloidosis.

Mackenzie’s Mission is focused on making a difference in the fight against amyloidosis. The cornerstone of their education/raising awareness effort is the Amyloidosis Speakers Bureau, which is focused on the medical community, and is complemented by their digital efforts to educate the patient community.
